The United States of America.. united we stand, divided we fall

I am writing this post as a Black Female Liberal Democrat but as I continue you will see it's not about partisan politics. Fear is what drives my words.  Below you will find the different parties in this country with descriptions of their beliefs. The reason for the acknowledgement is to show how different we all are. However what you do see is LOVE FOR OUR COUNTRY by all parties.

Now with all of our different views, wants and needs the ONE thing that should be first and foremost and that is to protect our country from "Foreign and Domestic threats.

Protection from Enemies – Foreign and Domestic

The Founding Fathers who framed our Constitution in 1787 knew that individuals have certain unalienable rights – life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness,as earlier expressed in the Declaration of Independence. These rights were God-given rights. No government or constitution gave them to the individual. Rather, the purpose of governments and constitutions was to protect these basic, God-given rights.
The Founding Fathers comprehended how and why people behave the way they do. Men like James Madison and Alexander Hamilton understood human nature. They saw that some human beings would always resort to force, deceit, war, stealing, and killing to get what they wanted. Thus, there was an obvious need for government – legitimate, just government to carry out two main functions:
(1) protecting free people from foreign enemies and invaders;
(2) protecting honest, self-responsible, hard-working citizens within the nation from domestic lawbreakers who would use coercion, fraud, or force to deprive others of life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness.

Donald Trump's goal is to RULE THE WORLD not LEAD OUR COUNTRY. This is one of the biggest ego trips I've ever witnessed. If our country wasn't so deeply rooted in RACISM he never would have made it passed his PRESIDENTIAL announcement. But here we are over a year later and this Sociopath is still here, embarrassing us all.

  The Green Party of the United States is a federation of state Green Parties. Committed to environmentalism, non-violence, social justice and grassroots organizing, Greens are renewing democracy without the support of corporate donors.

 An independent or nonpartisan politician is an individual politician not affiliated to any political party. There are numerous reasons why someone may stand for office as an independent. Independents may support policies which are different from those of the major political parties

                                                                 

Liberals believe in government action to achieve equal opportunity and equality for all. It is the duty of the government to alleviate social ills and to protect civil liberties and individual and human rights. Believe the role of the government should be to guarantee that no one is in need.

                                                     

One of the differences between democrats and republicans lies in their views towards social issues. The Republicans tend to be conservative on social issues. They tend to oppose gay marriage and promote marriage being between a man and a woman. They also oppose abortion and promote the right of gun ownership.

Libertarianism (Latin: liber, "free") is a collection of political philosophies that uphold liberty as their principal objective. Libertarians seek to maximize autonomy and freedom of choice, emphasizing political freedom, voluntary association, and the primacy of individual judgment.

As shown above we have quite a few different parties with different views on how our Country should be ran. However I'm thinking it's time to become one party AMERICANS
